Foods That Contain Probiotics

Here is a list of foods that contain probiotics.

IMPORTANT: Keep in mind that these foods only contain probiotics IF these foods are produced with methods that do not destroy the live bacteria.

At this time, foods that contain probiotics are mainly dairy products and dairy beverages, that include:

    * Yogurt
    * Drinkable and squeezable yogurts
    * Fluid milk with added probiotics
    * Fermented milk such as sweet acidophilus milk
    * Kefir

Some other foods that may contain probiotics are infant foods and infant formulas, powdered milk products, and breakfast cereals  - read the labels to be sure they really do have the probiotics you are looking for.
